Dreamgirls

  • What is a Dream Girl?

The Pi Kappa Alpha Dream Girl is a young lady who lives by the same high ideals by which our brotherhood lives. She is usually someone who is close friends with the men of Pi Kappa Alpha, but most importantly represents what PIKE is about. The pictures below show the select few women who the men of Pi Kappa Alpha Epsilon Chapter have determined represent PIKE in the highest regard.

When thinking back on my favorite PIKE memories, there are just too many to list here, but the majority of them have one thing in common – “late night.” From singing American Pie to swing dancing in the great room, there is nothing better than just hanging out with all the brothers. However, there will never be any night as meaningful to me as my Dreamgirl initiation, I have never felt so honored to be a part of this amazing group of guys. “Of the countless memories I’ve made with these guys, it’s extremely difficult to pick just one moment with the brothers of Pi Kappa Alpha to be my favorite. My first Valentine’s Date Party definitely stands out though. I was a freshman and the night ended with slides on the great room floor. I’d never seen anything like it but I met some of my best friends that night and I’ll never forget it. Being a Dreamgirl is such an exciting and meaningful honor. These guys really have become like my big, and sometimes little, brothers. They are simply the most best men I could ever surround myself with.”

"How do I even begin to pick a favorite Pike moment? Besides ROARmals, late nights, Dreamgirl Initiation, and Valentine’s Date party, my favorite memory would have to be singing “American Pie” last summer at a brother’s apartment. We were singing at the top of our lungs while standing in a circle with our arms around each other. It was pure Pike insanity of course, but it showed me how amazing these guys really are. I am lucky to not only have the other Dreamgirls be some of my closest friends but to be able to call the brothers of Pi Kappa Alpha my best friends... I can’t imagine college without them!”
