LEADERSHIP
Pi Kappa Alpha is dedicated to developing men into the best leaders that we can. We are leaders at Virginia Tech as well as within the surrounding community. We completed over 13,500 hours of community service last year, and donated over $32,000 to charities. Our most prominent philanthropic event, Fireman's Challenge, raised over $15,000 for the local Blacksburg Fire Department and VT Rescue. Our dedication to leadership can be seen throughout our pledging process which places a very strong emphasis on the growth of one’s leadership skills by improving one’s ability to work in a team, their ability to manage time, their communication and oratory skills, and by encouraging our pledges to step up and take leadership roles both within their pledge class and within the Virginia Tech community.
This focus has produced overwhelming success for our brothers who have completed the pledge process, for within our brotherhood over 90% of our members are active in other organizations. We are privileged to have recognize the following leadership positions that members of our brotherhood have recently or currently hold...
